The Pengshan Han Cliff Tomb Museum is located in Jiangkou Town. Established in 1989, the museum has expanded from its initial area of over 3,000 square meters to more than 6,000 square meters. In 1999, it was designated as one of the first batch of patriotic education bases in Meishan City, and in 2003, it was listed as one of the third batch of provincial-level patriotic education bases in Sichuan Province. The museum is divided into three exhibition areas: the first is a site display area primarily featuring cliff tombs; the second is an exhibition area of historical artifacts from various dynasties displayed in the ancient Ming Dynasty architectural complex Zitong Palace; the third is a sculpture hall showcasing rare Han Dynasty pictorial bricks and pictorial stones. To enrich the diversity of the exhibitions, the museum has hosted a series of events including the "Han Dynasty Artifacts Exhibition," "Spring Festival Cultural Relics Boutique Exhibition," "Pengshan County’s First Boutique Exhibition of Collected Artifacts," "Song Dynasty Porcelain Exhibition," "Exhibition of Excavated Song Dynasty Coins," "National Day Cultural Relics Exhibition," "Sculpture Art Exhibition," and "Exhibition of Boutique Artifacts from Various Dynasties." These efforts have fully utilized the museum's role in public education and propaganda, as well as its function as a patriotic education base, helping to raise public awareness about cultural heritage.

Originally established as Shuangjiang Township in 1951, it was restructured as a commune in 1958, changed to Jiangkou Township in 1983, and became a town in 1984.
