Shouxing Valley Scenic Area

Shouxing Valley Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Shouxing Valley is located in Pengshan District, Sichuan Province. It is a tourist destination integrating ecological sightseeing, longevity wellness, and leisure vacationing. The area boasts beautiful mountains and clear waters, creating a pleasant landscape. There are approximately 20 scenic spots within the valley.

The Sichuan Shouxing Valley Scenic Area is developed to national 4A-level standards as a large-scale comprehensive tourist destination that integrates natural landscapes, sightseeing agriculture, wellness and retirement living, and leisure vacationing. It is situated in Jinping Township, Pengshan District. The valley features beautiful scenery with lush green waters and mountains, fresh air, and a forest coverage rate of 98%, along with well-developed facilities. Currently, it offers cultural attractions such as the statue of Pengzu, the Longevity Buddha, the Old Wharf, the Wuyang Tea House Corridor, and the Dongshan Tribe. There is also the “Nanshan Amusement Park” designed for children with international themes, as well as an arms knowledge zone and a Math Carnival offering intellectual development and entertainment services.

For example, the renowned Yaojiagou Grand Canyon covers a water area of about 2.4 million square meters, with canyon depths ranging from 50 to 150 meters, and is home to various species of native fish. The Men’s Valley and Women’s Valley are also famous attractions in Shouxing Valley. The valley’s unique combination of natural and man-made landscapes has earned it the prestigious title of “The Number One Valley of Tianfu.”
