Jiangzhou Underground Gallery

The Jiangzhou Underground Gallery scenic area is located in Jiangzhou Yao Autonomous Township, Fengshan County, Hechi City, Guangxi. It is 45 kilometers from the county seat, 300 kilometers from Nanning, and 160 kilometers from Hechi City. The area can be accessed via highways from both Nanning and Hechi to Fengshan. It is the longest cave in the world developed within Permian soluble rock strata, and the entire cave system features multiple collapse skylights and vertical shafts.

The currently measured length of the dry cave is 370,000 meters. The cavern is composed of massive passages and numerous large chambers, with an average radius of 28.6 meters throughout the cave passage. There are 25 underground chambers in total, with areas ranging from 4,000 to 18,500 square meters, among which eight chambers exceed 10,000 square meters. The cave's stalactite-like formations mainly consist of large-scale gravity water sedimentary features such as stalagmites, stalactites, flowstone dams, stone fields, and cave pearls, as well as delicate and peculiar non-gravity water sedimentary forms such as helictites.
