Only until August! Kaohsiung’s first “Charlie Brown-themed station” opens in Fengshan

Kaohsiung has a new spot for photos and check-ins! To celebrate Children’s Day, Kaohsiung MRT transformed Fengshan West Station into Taiwan’s first “Charlie Brown-themed station.” From entrances to the interior, visitors can find colorful walls painted with Charlie Brown and Snoopy, plus life-size figures of Charlie Brown and his friends — perfect for taking fun photos. The exhibit is free and open to the public until the end of August, aiming to boost tourism in the Fengshan area.

▲ Charlie Brown-themed decorations can also be found on elevators for passengers with disabilities and on the ceiling.

Themed “Travel Fun with Charlie Brown,” this Kaohsiung MRT project uses an all-angle spatial design. From the station entrances, concourse level, platform level, elevators for passengers with disabilities, to the ceiling — you’ll find adorable images and figures of Charlie Brown and Snoopy, inviting travelers to take photos and interact. The station has also introduced a Charlie Brown commemorative stamp, allowing fans to collect a stamp as a memento.

To complement the cute exhibition theme, Kaohsiung MRT invited the Ten Drum Art Percussion Group to create a custom departure melody for Fengshan West Station — “Happy Waltz.” Composed with piano and a waltz rhythm, the melody is full of childlike joy. By combining visual and auditory experiences, the MRT aims to offer passengers a unique commuting experience and attract more fans to visit Fengshan. The Charlie Brown-themed exhibition area will remain on display until August 31.
