The Zhongting Red Shangri-La Rural Tourism Area is located in Zhongting Township, Fengshan County, about a 40-minute drive from the county seat. There are dedicated shuttle buses available. Zhongting Township offers accommodation and dining services.

the story of the first female hero of China’s New Democratic Revolution who embraced an enemy soldier before leaping off a cliff, the “Red Army Field” — a living fossil of China’s Land Revolution, the miraculous case during China’s Land Revolution period where landlords’ fields were confiscated and redistributed equally to poor farmers and continuously cultivated until the country’s liberation, the successful experience of the “divided cultivation” pilot program of the Right River Land Revolution, the high praise given by the great leader Deng Xiaoping for Zhongting’s “divided cultivation” land reform method, the battlefield sites where the Zhongting Soviet soldiers and civilians resisted the first, second, and third “encirclement campaigns,” the battlefield site of the Zhongting Defense Battle, and the experience of the last fierce battle fought in Guangxi to defend the newly established county-level people’s political power.
