The Jiangnan Subdistrict Office is situated in the Jiangnan area of Guigang City, adjacent to the Yu River section of the Xijiang River basin, and falls under the jurisdiction of Gangnan District. It serves as the political, economic, and cultural center of Gangnan District. Located south of the urban area and along the banks of the Yu River, it neighbors Batang Town and Xintang Township. Its boundaries extend east to the Grenoble Chemical Company, south to Xina and the hillsides of Xintang Village, west to Xianyitan Wharf, and north to the Yu River.
