Guigang Nanshan Martyrs' Cemetery is a classic red tourism destination.

The Nanshan Martyrs' Cemetery is situated in the eastern section of the Nanshan Scenic Area on the southern bank of the Yujiang River in Gangnan District. It comprises a martyrs' memorial monument and three stone monuments (statues) commemorating revolutionary martyrs including Huang Zhang. Established in December 1979, the monument stands approximately 23 meters tall, with the seven characters "Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Monument" inscribed on all four sides. The site includes supporting facilities such as steps, a main avenue, an observation platform, and stone statues of martyrs Tan Shoulin and Dong Quanhan. The stone tomb of martyr Huang Zhang was relocated here from Xishan in December 1979. In recent years, with the renovation and expansion of the Nanshan Scenic Area, the surrounding greenery of the memorial cemetery has been further enhanced. Groups and individuals visit continuously to pay their respects and hold commemorative activities. The martyrs' cemetery has become an important base for patriotic education and revolutionary tradition education in the city. During the Qingming Festival each year, many organizations and individuals come here to honor the revolutionary martyrs and lay wreaths in their memory.

Dong Quanhan (1906–1929), originally from West Fifth Street in Guicheng Town. In 1924, he was admitted to the Provincial Second Middle School in Wuzhou. During the May 30th Movement in 1925, he participated in Wuzhou student-led efforts to form a "Boycott of Enemy Goods Committee," which confiscated and burned goods from Britain and Japan. That same year, he joined the Communist Youth League. In the autumn of 1926, he was admitted to the Provincial First Middle School in Guangdong Province. While in Guangzhou, he engaged in revolutionary activities and joined the Chinese Communist Party that same year.

Huang Zhang, also known by his courtesy name Wenbo, used the aliases Huang Yuan, Lü Er, Lü Shanshou, and Lin Ai. He was born on October 20, 1901, into a poor farming family in Xishan Township, Guixian County (now Guigang), Guangxi. Huang Zhang was intelligent and quick-witted from a young age. After graduating from elementary school, he was unable to continue his formal education and worked as a shop assistant in medicine and grocery stores in Luxi Town, Binyang County, and Nanning. Known for being diligent, dexterous, and clever, he earned the praise of his employers. An elderly traditional Chinese medicine doctor who ran a pharmacy even decided to train him as a physician. Tan Shoulin (1896–May 1931), courtesy name Zhufeng, also used the name Qin Shuli, and wrote under the pen names Manshu and Mianyu. He was from Guixian County (now Guigang City), Guangxi, and came from a farming family. In the spring of the 6th year of the Republic of China (1917), he was admitted to Guixian Middle School. In September of the 10th year (1921), he entered the English preparatory program at Peking University. In the 11th year (1922), he joined the Chinese Socialist Youth League. In the autumn of the 12th year (1923), he began studying in the Chinese Literature Department at Peking University. In the autumn of the 13th year (1924), he joined the Chinese Communist Party. He worked under the leadership of Li Dazhao in the Northern Bureau of the CCP and the Northern Branch of the All-China Labor Federation Secretariat, where he was responsible for the publication "Workers' Weekly."
