Junzizhong Village

The village boasts a simple and honest folk culture, a beautiful environment, and picturesque landscapes surrounded by lush green mountains. It has a particularly rich cultural and historical heritage. The Hakka walled villages here have a long history and are well-preserved, consisting of 19 Hakka enclosed houses. This is the largest Hakka walled village complex in Guangxi, covering an area of about 6 square kilometers. The earliest walled house was built in the late Qianlong period, with most constructed during the Xianfeng era, dating back over 100 years. Many of these walled houses remain in their original state, such as Duanxin Walled House, Yunlong Walled House, Gupo City, Weigan City, Xianji City, Daji City, Yingji City, Tongji City, and Maolong City, making them rare cultural treasures. In 2011, it was designated as a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit by the Guigang Municipal Government.
