Heaven’s Lake on Earth — Datang’ao: Located at the mountaintop of Sanxingpo, it is a radiant jewel formed by the convergence of mountain spring water. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, especially in spring when vibrant azaleas blanket the hillsides. It serves both irrigation and tourism purposes, making it an ideal summer retreat. The low valleys around the lake are not backed by high mountains, and the area features rolling low hills covering one square kilometer, with majestic, continuous high mountains in the distance. Spring water gushes from the mountain slopes, gathering into streams. Because it is situated high on the cloud-kissed slopes, it is called “Heaven’s Lake on Earth.” The deepest part of the lake reaches 50 meters. In late spring and early summer, azaleas along the lakeshore bloom competitively, filling the air with birdsong and floral fragrance. In midsummer and early autumn, cool breezes blow gently over the shimmering blue waters where fish seem to swim through the clouds. Boating leisurely here offers endless delight.
