On November 24th, the Skyroam Outdoor Life Store was filled with applause as the “Trek the Three Rivers, Explore Yunnan” sharing event, jointly organized by Zhanlu Culture, Ailehuo Community, and Skyroam, officially commenced here. As the advocate of this event, renowned explorer Jin Feibao also appeared on-site to share experiences with all the dream chasers. Skyroam founder Zeng Hua, Zhanlu Culture founder Chen Xiaohui, and Ailehuo CEO Cai Hu also shared their own beautiful dreams about the outdoors and journeying. The event was hosted by Fan Luwei, editor-in-chief of “Charming Gentleman” and one of the dream chasers. The “Dream Chaser” Sanjiang Travel Photography Exhibition and the “Sanjiang Travel Equipment Exhibition” both received widespread acclaim and praise from the participants.
“Trek the Three Rivers, Explore Yunnan” Sharing Session Venue
It is reported that the “Trek the Three Rivers, Explore Yunnan” activity by the dream chasers officially kicked off on October 27th, and on November 7th, the travelers successfully completed their planned itinerary. During the trek, they conquered vast expanses of yellow sand, traversed pristine forests, and crossed unmanned snow-capped mountains. They discovered unknown natural ecosystems and marveled at nature’s beauty; they also visited isolated villages and schools, spreading love and dreams. Through their journey, they showed us that the outdoors can be this—full of conviction, perseverance, love, and sunshine. These elements were once again perfectly presented at the Skyroam Outdoor Life Store. The “Dream Chaser” Sanjiang Travel Photography Exhibition captured the stunning landscapes of the Three Rivers, the cultural charm of the Lisu people, and the daily lives of the dream chasers along the way. To more vividly recreate the experience of the Sanjiang trekkers, the “Sanjiang Travel Equipment Exhibition” at the Skyroam Outdoor Life Store also evoked fond memories of the journey.
At the start of the sharing session, the dream chasers gave a brief introduction to the original intention behind trekking the Three Rivers and some of the stories behind it. Speaking about the significance of the journey, Skyroam founder Zeng Hua said that it mainly focused on paying attention to the natural and human ecological environments of the Three Rivers, in order to carry out more effective protection and rational development, and to give hope to the children of ethnic minorities, while also inspiring more people to step into the outdoors and experience nature. Along the way, Zeng Hua, Jin Feibao, and other dream chasers brought stationery and other daily necessities to the children at schools they passed. After the trek, the dream chasers sent additional supplies that the schools lacked to the mountainous regions, offering the children even more care and hope.

Speaking of this trip, Chen Xiaohui also had deep feelings, recalling the 10-hour trek from an altitude of 3,400 meters down to 1,200 meters by the Nu River. The journey was fraught with danger, which was undoubtedly a huge challenge for him and his teammates, who were experiencing the outdoors for the first time. Even so, the dream chasers bravely moved forward. The ten-day trek not only brought them breathtaking scenery but also affirmation and encouragement for themselves. As an explorer who completed the “7+2” challenge in the shortest time, Jin Feibao, leading the group as a dream chaser this time, took everyone through various terrains such as the Nu River Gorge, high-altitude primeval jungles, plateau drylands, and alpine lakes. They also experienced the culture of Lisu mountain villages and shared photos taken along the way with the children at local schools, allowing them to see the outside world.

While sharing insights from the journey, Jin Feibao also recounted his exploration experiences, from climbing Mount Everest to contributing to the Beijing Olympics. He represents not just himself, but also an outdoor spirit. His new book “Desert Sahara” provides a full account of the first Chinese expedition into the heart of the Sahara. At the event, Jin Feibao also engaged in exciting interactions with enthusiastic readers and held a book signing session on-site.
