The Chengde Bashang Tourist Highway will be completed by the end of this month, connecting the stunning landscapes of Bashang through it.
The Bashang Tourist Highway starts from the Saihanba National Forest Park in the north, runs southwest through the Yudaokou Ranch Management Area, Yudaokou Township of Weichang Manchu and Mongolian Autonomous County, Yuerzhen Town of Fengning Manchu Autonomous County, and ends at Datan Town of Fengning Manchu Autonomous County, with a total length of 180 kilometers. It is expected to be completed by the end of June this year.
This road is also known as the “National Highway No. 1.” Along it, whether you start from Zhangjiakou, Chengde, or Beijing, you can easily explore the countless beautiful sights nearby, including China Horse Town located to the north of Datan Town.

The 3rd Hebei Tourism Development Conference will be held in Chengde, with its closing ceremony taking place at China Horse Town.
Hosted by the Hebei Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, and organized by the Chengde Municipal Party Committee, Municipal Government, and the Provincial Tourism Development Commission, the 3rd Hebei Tourism Industry Development Conference will be held in July 2018 in the Chengde Bashang area, including Weichang Manchu and Mongolian Autonomous County, Fengning Manchu Autonomous County, and Yudaokou Ranch Management Area.
This tourism conference takes the “National Highway No. 1 Scenic Drive” (Yuda Line) as its main route, connecting six new-format clusters (24 projects) in the Bashang area, and plans scenic spots and cultural elements with a multi-dimensional, in-depth, real-scene, and region-wide concept. The closing ceremony of the conference will be held at the new scenic spot in the Bashang Grassland—China Horse Town.
After the conclusion of the tourism conference, China Horse Town will soon open to the public, adding yet another dazzling new landmark to the Bashang Grassland.
