On November 24th, the Skyroam Outdoor Life Store echoed with applause as the “Walking the Three Rivers, Exploring Yunnan” sharing event, jointly hosted by Zhanlu Culture, Ailehuo Community, and Skyroam, officially commenced. As the advocate of the event, the famous explorer Jin Feibao was on-site to share the experience with all the dream chasers. Founders of Skyroam, Zhanlu Culture, and Ailehuo—Zeng Hua, Chen Xiaohui, and Cai Hu respectively—also shared their beautiful dreams about the outdoors and journeying. The event was hosted by Fan Luwei, editor-in-chief of "Charming Gentleman" and one of the dream chasers. The “Dream Chaser’s Three Rivers Journey Photography Exhibition” and the “Three Rivers Journey Equipment Exhibition” received widespread praise from attendees.

It is reported that the Dream Chaser’s “Walking the Three Rivers, Exploring Yunnan” activity officially commenced on October 27th, and by November 7th, the travelers had successfully completed their planned itinerary. Throughout the journey, they conquered endless yellow sands, traversed pristine forests, and crossed unmanned snow-capped mountains. They discovered unknown natural ecosystems and marveled at nature’s beauty; they also visited isolated villages and schools, spreading love and inspiration. Through their journey, they showed us that the outdoors can be a place of belief, perseverance, love, and sunshine. These experiences were vividly presented again at the Skyroam Outdoor Life Store. The “Dream Chaser’s Three Rivers Journey Photography Exhibition” captured the stunning landscapes of the Three Rivers, the cultural charm of the Lisu people, and the daily lives of the dream chasers along the way. To authentically recreate the journey, the “Three Rivers Journey Equipment Exhibition” at the Skyroam Outdoor Life Store also evoked fond memories for the travelers.
At the start of the sharing session, the dream chasers briefly introduced their motivations for hiking the Three Rivers and some behind-the-scenes stories. Speaking about the significance of the journey, Zeng Hua, founder of Skyroam, said it was mainly to focus on the natural and human ecological environments of the Three Rivers, in order to facilitate more effective protection and sustainable development, to bring hope to children of ethnic minorities, and to inspire more people to explore the outdoors and connect with nature. Along the way, Zeng Hua, Jin Feibao, and other dream chasers brought stationery and daily necessities to children at schools they passed. After the journey, they sent additional supplies needed by the schools to the mountainous regions, offering the children even more care and hope.

Reflecting on the trip, Chen Xiaohui also shared deep feelings, recalling the 10-hour trek from an altitude of 3,400 meters down to 1,200 meters by the Nu River. The route was fraught with danger, posing a significant challenge for him and his teammates, who were first-time outdoor adventurers. Even so, the dream chasers bravely pressed on. The ten-day trek brought them not only breathtaking scenery but also affirmation and encouragement for themselves. As the explorer who completed the “7+2” challenge in record time, Jin Feibao led the group as the dream chaser captain, taking everyone through diverse terrains such as the Nu River Gorge, high-altitude primeval jungles, plateau drylands, and alpine lakes. They also experienced the culture of Lisu mountain villages and shared photos taken along the way with school children, giving them a glimpse of the outside world.

While sharing insights from the trip, Jin Feibao also recounted his exploration experiences—from climbing Mount Everest to contributing to the Beijing Olympics. He represents not just himself, but also the spirit of the outdoors. His new book “Desert Sahara” fully documents the first Chinese expedition into the heart of the Sahara. At the event, Jin Feibao engaged in lively interactions with enthusiastic readers and held a book signing session on-site.
