At 9 a.m. yesterday, although light rain was falling, a group of cycling enthusiasts dressed in yellow raincoats set off on time from Yibin No. 3 Middle School. It is understood that this cycling event was initiated in mid-October with the aim of promoting green travel and cherishing the unique environment of Yibin’s Three Rivers and Six Banks. The 300 participants cleaned up trash along the riverbanks they passed.
It is understood that a total of 300 people took part in the cycling event yesterday. The group set off from Yibin No. 3 Middle School and cycled along the Jinsha River, Min River, and Yangtze River in Yibin. The cycling group included retirees as well as junior high school students. Their goal was to pick up trash along both banks of the rivers and advocate for green travel.
