Sanjiang Qishi City

Sanjiang's peculiar stones are world-renowned for their hardness, smooth texture, and variety of types. Particularly notable are the red-patterned pebbles, which come in hues such as all-red, blood-red, floral-red, purple-red, and mottled-red—displaying a dazzling array of quartz colors, rich charm, and vibrant beauty. Among them, “Sanjiang Colorful Stones” are especially prized for their hard texture and smooth, fine surface. Since their debut in the 1980s, Sanjiang stones quickly caused a sensation in the domestic and international stone-collecting communities, becoming a hallmark of Sanjiang. In 2010, Sanjiang was honored with the title of “China’s Hometown of Ornamental Stones.” The Qishi City now houses over 50 stone exhibition halls.
