Bajiangkou Hot Springs

Bajiangkou Hot Springs emerge in Chongshou Village, Liangsan Town, Xinhuang County, at a depth of 1,100 meters, with water temperatures ranging from 40 to 60 degrees Celsius. It is a self-flowing hot spring with a daily discharge of approximately 2,000 tons and forms part of the main water system of the Jianhe Hot Springs. The geological structure belongs to the Wuxiangxi Formation of the Banxi Group in the Proterozoic era. Certified by authoritative national departments, its water quality is classified as therapeutic fluorine water, with a water chemical type of HCO3-CO3-Na. It is a sodium bicarbonate-type fluorine radon spring containing metasilicic acid. No harmful elements detrimental to human health have been found. The springs offer effective treatment for various skin diseases, high blood pressure, coronary heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis, back and leg pain, osteoporosis in the elderly, and psoriasis. They are especially beneficial for athletes recovering from intense physical activity. Additionally, they moisturize and beautify the skin.

As an essential highlight of the Yelang Cultural Eco-Tourism project, the Bajiangkou Hot Springs Scenic Area is a key tourism development initiative in Xinhuang County and has been included in the city’s priority assessment projects. Designed as a AAAA-level scenic spot, the core area spans 18.6 hectares and includes six functional zones: the Yelang Dynamic Water Park, Wellness Culture Garden, Yelang Royal Garden (VIP), Entrance Plaza Reception Area, Wellness Hot Spring Bathing Zone, Xixi Drifting, along with infrastructure development such as the Liangyu Highway.
