The mobile app "Prefecture Legend" recently became a huge hit in Japan, with numerous users showcasing their travel maps on social media. Japan enthusiasts were constantly sharing their travel stories. Now catching onto this trend, the "Taiwan Version of Prefecture Legend" has been launched, prompting many travel-loving visitors to flaunt their “Blue Sweet Potatoes,” making it the most talked-about travel app of late.
After becoming a hit in Japan, the app "Prefecture Legend" has recently launched a Taiwanese version.
The gameplay of the Taiwan version of Prefecture Legend is the same as the Japanese one—you can select areas where you've lived or traveled across Taiwan’s counties and cities, mark them, and calculate your Prefecture Level. The Taiwanese version divides the main island into 17 regions, plus outlying islands such as Kinmen, Matsu, and Penghu, totaling 20 regions.
The gameplay of Taiwan's Prefecture Legend is the same as the Japanese version, allowing you to calculate your Prefecture Level based on travel and residency experiences.
Users can click on different regions to indicate whether they’ve lived there long-term (over 3 years), resided (over 1 year), stayed briefly (over 1 month), or traveled there. If they’ve never been, they can select the “None of the above” option.
The Taiwan version of Prefecture Legend offers five options to mark each region.
Once marked, users are sharing their “Blue Sweet Potatoes” to show their travel status, while some who see many “white regions” say it’s time to hit the road. Future versions of Prefecture Legend will include other countries, with the latest Hong Kong edition recently developed, generating great anticipation among travelers worldwide.
