Jiajia Mountain

Jiajia Mountain is located 8 kilometers northeast of Majiaduan Subdistrict Office, spanning three villages in Xiannv Town—Jinshan, Jinhu, and Taohuadang—and is the site of the Zhijiang City Forestry Science Research Institute. The mountain stands 58 meters above sea level, stretches 2 kilometers from north to south, and is 1.5 kilometers wide from east to west. Situated on the northern shore of East Lake, it is densely forested. The mountain features relics from the Anti-Japanese War, including trenches and the “Heartbreak Tree,” where Japanese troops committed atrocities.
