    The 2013 China · Lijiang Yulong National First Plateau Mountain Race Challenge, organized by the State General Administration of Sports Mountaineering Sports Management Center, China Mountaineering Association, Yunnan Provincial Sports Bureau, and Lijiang Municipal People's Government, and organized-executed by the CPC Yulong Naxi Autonomous County Committee and the People’s Government of Yulong Naxi Autonomous County, is scheduled to be held from June 18 to 22, 2013, in Yulong County, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province.

III. Competition Events and Categories

  (I) Competition Events:

Men’s Hill Climb Race: Route length approximately5kilometers, elevation gain of approximately700meters,90minute cutoff time;

Men’s Uphill-Downhill Race: Route length approximately20kilometers, total elevation gain of approximately2000meters,5hour cutoff time;

Women's Hill Climb Race: Course length approximately5kilometers, elevation gain of approximately700meters,120-minute cutoff;

Women's Lift-Assisted Race: Course length approximately17kilometers, total elevation gain of approximately1500meters,5-hour cutoff;

Public Experience Race: Course length approximately5kilometers, elevation gain of approximately700meters;

IV. Eligibility Requirements:

  (I) Each organization may register one team only,Each team shall register6members. Including1team leader or coach;athlete5(male-to-female ratio3:2, i.e.,5athletes,3male2female;),Each athlete may participate in all the above events; if there are not enough athletes5Sports teams with more than one person cannot participate in the team ranking evaluation.

  (2) Participating athletes must be in good health, with no heart, brain, or other diseases or medical histories that make them unsuitable for high-intensity exercise (a health certificate from a county-level or higher hospital is required).

  (3) Teams must wear uniform attire (full-body matching outfits) during the competition.

  (4) The amateur experience group is for individual registration, and participants must be in good health.

   (5) Age requirements for participating athletes:1850years old.

V. Competition Rules:

    Refer to the mountain racing competition rules formulated by the Chinese Mountaineering Association (to be issued separately).

VI. Ranking and Awards:

  (1) Athletes who complete the day’s course within the specified time and as required will have their results recorded.

  (2) Final rankings will be determined based on the time taken in each sub-event, from shortest to longest.,The athlete with the shorter time ranks higher. In case of a tie, the athletes will share the same rank, and no subsequent rank will be awarded; the team result is the cumulative score of all team members’ long-distance uphill/downhill race results. If any team member does not complete the race, the team will not be eligible for the team ranking; athletes who finish the race but do not place will receive a finisher’s certificate.5The scores of all athletes in the long-distance uphill-downhill race are accumulated. If any athlete in a team does not finish the race, the team will not be eligible for the team ranking. Athletes who complete the race but do not place will receive a finisher’s certificate.

  (3) Total prize money: 10RMB 100,000. For each category (men’s individual, women’s individual

      groups, 4events), the top12places will be awarded certificates and prize money; team awards will be given to the top three teams, who will receive trophies.
