Dabieshan Lijing Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Dabieshan Lijing Scenic Area is currently the largest, most comprehensive, and feature-rich rural tourism project in the Dabieshan region, centered around themes of green living, health, and wellness. The area boasts simple local customs, fresh air, picturesque mountains and rivers, and interconnected lakes. It is rich in both regional cultural resources and natural landscapes. Through investment and development, a wealth of modern elements have been integrated, organically combining modern technological culture, historical heritage, and natural ecological culture.

Dabieshan Lijing Scenic Area is an investment-attracting project of Jinjiapu Town and a key project under the “Ten Six” initiative of Yingshan County. Located at the center of the West River Eighteen Bends scenic belt in Yingshan, it is 150 km from Wuhan Tianhe Airport, 75 km from the Beijing-Kowloon Railway Station, and 15 km from the Wuying Expressway exit. It connects eastward via the Wuhan-Hefei Expressway to Hefei, Nanjing, Suzhou-Hangzhou, and Shanghai; westward via the Da-Guang Expressway to Kaifeng, Zhengzhou, Tianjin, and Beijing; and southward via the Huang-Huang Expressway to Jiujiang, Nanchang, Changsha, and Guangzhou—offering convenient transportation and a superior location.

Centered on wellness culture, Dabieshan Lijing Scenic Area integrates modern eco-agricultural sightseeing with vacationing, leisure, entertainment, and fitness. Covering a planned area of 6.7 square kilometers, it centers around Lejiachong Village and encompasses five villages: Balishan, Tuolianchong, Yangjiahe, and Longtanhe. Designed and planned by Hubei Urban Planning and Design Institute and Central-South China Survey and Design Institute, and invested in and developed by Hubei Lijing Eco-Agriculture Technology Co., Ltd., the project has a total planned investment of 550 million yuan. The scenic area consists of three major sections: eco-agriculture, leisure vacation, and tourism real estate.

Scenic Area Concept

The development of Dabieshan Lijing Scenic Area is rooted in the mountain countryside while targeting urban visitors. It aims to create: an “experience tour” featuring tea, fruit, and vegetable picking, Bi Sheng movable-type printing, and historical folk experiences; an “entertainment tour” centered on dreamy rafting, water parks, outdoor adventures, and live performances; a “leisure tour” focused on viewing waterfalls in Fairy Valley, exploring ponds in Longtanhe, hiking Niubeiji Ridge, and fishing in Longtan Lake; a “wellness tour” built around waterside hotels, hot spring soaking, log cabin villas, courtyard wellness centers, and health check-up & rehabilitation centers; and a “shopping tour” anchored by an antique-style commercial street as a logistics hub and featuring locally produced, pesticide- and hormone-free safe agricultural specialties. The goal is to provide visitors with delightful sights, joyful activities, worry-free meals, and comfortable accommodations—making it a “joyful park” for urban and rural residents, a “second home” for city dwellers, and a shining calling card for Yingshan’s tourism industry.
