Taohuayu Eco Ski Resort is located in the Taohuayu Scenic Area at the boundary between the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River in Xingyang, adjacent to the Yellow River Tourist Area, the Chu-Han Boundary Site, and the Three Sovereigns Site. Facing the Yellow River and situated over 20 kilometers from downtown Zhengzhou, the resort features a snow-making area of 150,000 square meters, along with a comprehensive service hall of over 5,000 square meters. It is currently the largest ski resort in the Central Plains region.

The ski slopes are built along the mountain and designed entirely according to international standards and the physical characteristics of the Chinese population. The total length of the slopes reaches 3,200 meters, with a relative elevation drop of 100 meters. The intermediate slope has a maximum gradient of 15 degrees, while the beginner slope is designed with an 8-degree incline. The resort includes a snow play area, children’s zone, teaching area, skiing area, and a snow leisure plaza covering over 20,000 square meters. It not only allows beginners to enjoy the fun of skiing but also meets the needs of skiing enthusiasts who want to show off their skills or indulge in the sport.

Equipped with over 30 sets of state-of-the-art snow-making equipment, seven dedicated ski tow lifts, more than 4,000 sets of ski gear, and over 2,000 sets of new professional ski suits, the resort can accommodate up to 7,000 visitors per day. It has introduced a convenient electronic payment system and a logical timekeeping method that separates the ski board and boots. Coupled with directional signage, this setup avoids congestion, saves guests’ time on billing, and provides the most user-friendly and high-quality service possible.

The main recreational activities at the resort include snow tubing, snow tug-of-war, and snow soccer; bonfire parties, slow rock on the snow, and song and dance performances; to cater to children’s entertainment needs, the resort also features a dedicated children’s slope and a snow play park with activities such as building snowmen, having snowball fights, pushing snow rings, and riding sleds. The resort will also host a snow sculpture exhibition, with all works designed and created by master artists—exquisitely white and crystal clear, offering you a unique experience in the snowy world. Additionally, the site includes supporting facilities such as restaurants, coffee bars, supermarkets, rest areas, snow-view guest rooms, book bars, movie bars, and parking lots, providing more comprehensive services for visitors.
