Explore 10 Creative Districts Along Taichung’s Calligraphy Greenway in One Go

To showcase Taichung’s rich cultural and creative energy, the “Fun Ten – Top 10 Taichung Cultural & Creative Districts Exhibition” runs from now until October 13 (Sunday) at the 10+1 Hut of the Museum of Fine Arts. With a map treasure hunt across 10 districts and the Fun Ten Ten Giveaway, discover the charm of Taichung and uncover the joys hidden in its alleys!

The “Top 10 Districts” featured in this event are: the leisurely and relaxing Calligraphy Greenway Cultural & Creative Living District; the exquisitely crafted Fengyuan Lacquerware & Pastry Cultural & Creative Living District; the artistically vibrant Tunghai Artistic Cultural & Creative Living District; the nostalgic Shuangshi Watershed Cultural & Creative Living District; the heritage-rich Central District Cultural & Creative Industry Zone; the foodie-favorite Fengjia Creative Food District; the rustic charm of Houli Liangma Sightseeing & Leisure Industry District; the misty and cinematic Wufeng Film & TV Cultural & Creative Industry District; the heritage-passing Dajia Cultural & Creative Industry District; and the floral idyll of Xinshe Flower Leisure Industry District.

 

The Taichung City Government Cultural Affairs Bureau presents the unique creative life traits and atmosphere of 10 districts through a storytelling curation approach. Each hut captures the district’s imagery and colors, transforming into an art and creativity surprise corner. Among them, the Calligraphy Greenway, Fengyuan, Shuangshi Watershed, and Dajia districts stand out: the Calligraphy Greenway is shaped as a youthful, artsy, and fashion-forward leisure space; Fengyuan highlights its lacquerware and pastry craftsmanship, with live violin performances and Fengyuan District Chief Zhang inviting visitors to sample local pastries; the Dajia Cultural & Creative Industry District evokes warmth and resilience through a rush mat-themed display; while the Shuangshi Watershed offers a journey through time, blending city history with light exploration.

The Urban Development Bureau guided the planning of the Central District Cultural & Creative Industry Zone, designing the booth with youth culture elements to highlight the beauty of old buildings; the Agriculture Bureau curated the Xinshe Flower Leisure Industry District, turning the booth into a blooming “flower path” that showcases Taichung’s diverse and colorful districts; the Economic Development Bureau oversaw the Tunghai and Fengjia areas—Tunghai Artistic Cultural & Creative Living District creates an ideal scene full of humanities, art, landscapes, and neighborhood identity; Fengjia Creative Food District becomes a holy land for night economy and trendy eats; the Tourism Bureau planned the Houli Liangma Sightseeing & Leisure Industry District, using the bike trail vibe to craft a romantic encounter; and the Information Bureau designed the Wufeng Film & TV Cultural & Creative Industry District, taking visitors back in time to uncover the secrets of a city garden as the main exhibition theme.

 

During the exhibition, special maps of each district and the Fun Ten Ten Giveaway activity will be available on-site. Collect 10 stamps to participate. The “Top 10 Taichung Cultural & Creative Districts Exhibition” invites you to soar through the city’s creative living essence—you’ll find artistic and creative surprises in parks, alleys, street corners, and more.
