The Hsinchu National Day Fireworks Show: 3 Shows to Kick Off from Sept. 28

Every October, everyone’s most anticipated event is the National Day fireworks. This year’s fireworks will be launched offshore at Hsinchu’s Nanliao Fishing Port, and the Hsinchu City Government will hold three concert events on September 28, October 5, and October 10 respectively, featuring performances by artists and groups such as Jully, Jolin Tsai, and F.I.R., while a total of three fireworks shows will also kick off one after another starting from September 28.

This year’s National Day fireworks theme is set as “The 102nd National Day Fireworks Bloom in Hsinchu – The Windy City,” with related events taking place in the Guanpu Redevelopment Area, Haishan Fishing Port, and the main venue at Nanliao Fishing Port. As for the three concert events, the first one, “HIGH-Flying Fun at Guanpu,” will take place on the evening of September 28 from 19:00–22:10, with performers including Jolin Tsai, Chang Chen-yue, Jully, and Luan Tan Ah Xiang, and the warm-up fireworks show scheduled from 21:50–22:10. The second event on October 5, “Haishan Pop Night,” will run from 18:30–22:30, featuring performers such as Hsiao Po-an, Tsai Hsiao-hu, Tsai Chiu-feng, and Hsu Fu-kai, with the warm-up fireworks show from 22:00–22:20. The grand finale on National Day itself will take place from 18:00–22:30, with fireworks from 19:00–19:40, lasting a full 40 minutes. That night’s performers include Jolin Tsai, F.I.R., MP Magic Power, Stronghold, and Bai An, among others.
