The "Northern Region International Light Spots Project," jointly promoted by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications and South Village, grandly unveils its fifth installment, the "Greater Zhongshan Humanities & Aesthetics District," starting on the 16th.

Centered around the theme of "Travel for Life," the Tourism Bureau launched the Northern Region International Light Spots Project, aiming to develop unique travel experiences in Taiwan’s distinctive living districts. Since 2010, it has successively introduced four light spots: "Da’an Humanities Stroll," "Datunshan Humanities & Nature," "Dadaocheng Humanities District," and "Dazhongcheng Humanities & History District," along with related travel publications, posters, postcards, and other merchandise.

The "Greater Zhongshan Humanities & Aesthetics District" highlights humanities aesthetics and fashion design. Its scope covers Yuanshan, the Japanese alleyway area, a fashionable humanities and design pathway, Qingguang Shopping Area, and Huashan 1914 Creative Park. It ingeniously blends elements such as Japanese alleyway charm, American retro style, luxury consumption, everyday life, lifestyle aesthetics, Taiwanese cuisine, and cultural creativity. In this district, where foreign flavors and urban fashion are most vibrant, travelers can deeply experience Taipei’s refined cultural life.

Additionally, with the launch of the "Greater Zhongshan" area, the five uniquely themed light spots span across Taipei’s east, west, south, north, and center, resembling a soaring kite when viewed on a map. Visitors can easily navigate between these distinctive areas via Taipei’s convenient buses, MRT, and on foot, enjoying the city’s rich cultural heritage and the joy of lifestyle travel.
