To showcase Taichung’s rich cultural and creative energy, the “Fun Ten – Top 10 Creative Districts in Taichung Exhibition” runs from today until October 13 (Sunday) at the 10+1 Cabin of the Qinn Museum of Fine Arts. With a map treasure hunt across 10 districts and the Fun Ten Ten Giveaway, discover the charm of Taichung and explore the joys of its hidden lanes.

The ten featured “districts” in this event are: the leisurely-paced Calligraphy Greenway Cultural and Creative Lifestyle District; the exquisitely crafted Fengyuan Lacquer Art & Pastry Cultural and Creative Lifestyle District; the art-infused East Coast University Art & Cultural Creative Lifestyle District; the nostalgic Shuangshi River Basin Cultural and Creative Lifestyle District; the heritage-rich Central District Cultural and Creative Industry Zone; the foodie-favorite Fengjia Creative Gourmet District; the rustic-friendly Houli Li’ma Tourism & Leisure Industry District; the misty and cinematic Wufeng Film & Cultural Creative Industry District; the enduring craftsmanship hub of Dajia Cultural and Creative Industry District; and the floral escape of Xinshe Flower & Leisure Industry District.
The Taichung City Government Cultural Affairs Bureau presents these 10 districts through a storytelling curation approach, highlighting their unique creative lifestyles and atmospheres. Each cabin captures the essence and color of its district, transforming into a delightful corner of artistry and creativity. Among them, the Calligraphy Greenway is shaped as a youthful, artsy, and fashion-forward leisure space; Fengyuan emphasizes its legacy as a cradle of traditional craftsmanship with its lacquer art and pastry district, featuring live violin performances and local treats offered by District Chief Chang; Dajia showcases warmth and resilience through a rush grass-themed environment; while the Shuangshi River Basin offers a time-travel experience through urban heritage.

The Urban Development Bureau guided the planning of the Central District Cultural and Creative Industry Zone, designing the exhibition space with a youth culture vibe to rediscover the charm of old buildings. The Agriculture Bureau curated the Xinshe Flower & Leisure Industry District, turning the venue into a floral wonderland evoking the feeling of wandering through blooming gardens, reflecting the diversity and vibrancy of Taichung’s districts. The Economic Development Bureau oversaw the planning of the East Coast University and Fengjia districts, with the former crafted as an ideal setting full of humanistic spirit, artistic landscapes, and district identity, while the latter is designed as a mecca for night economy and trendy cuisine. The Tourism Bureau curated the Houli Li’ma Tourism & Leisure Industry District, using the ambiance of an old railway trail to turn encounters into poetic moments. The Information Bureau planned the Wufeng Film & Cultural Creative Industry District, with an exhibition design that takes visitors back in time to uncover the secrets of the city’s garden-like charm.
During the exhibition period, special district maps and the Fun Ten Ten Giveaway activity will be available on-site. Collect all 10 stamps to participate. The “Taichung Cultural and Creative Ten Districts Exhibition” invites you to explore the city’s creative lifestyle—whether in parks, alleys, or street corners, you’ll find delightful surprises of art and creativity.
