The picturesque Wuyang Mountain Scenic Area lies adjacent to the Zi River in the front and backs onto the Xiao River at the rear. Its main peak stands at an elevation of 688.5 meters. It earned its name from the five sun-facing peaks — “Ping’an Fort,” “Jiaolong Fort,” “Drunken Platform,” “Phoenix Platform,” and “Drum-Beating Platform” — that cluster together, covering an area of six square kilometers. The area boasts excellent natural vegetation, with forest coverage exceeding 90%. The environment is pristine and the climate pleasant, resembling a paradise or a heavenly realm. It’s an ideal destination for summer retreats, leisure, and recreation.

The area features numerous natural landscapes and profound cultural heritage, making it a rare and outstanding tourist destination. With its steep, layered mountain ridges, the five peaks face the sun, creating overlapping ranges, deep valleys, sheer cliffs, rugged rocks, lush pines and cypresses — all combining to form a breathtaking natural painting. The scenic area mainly includes eight key attractions: Hidden Dragon Crevice, Immortals’ Bridge, Fairyland Garden, Stone Buddha Cliff, Yang Family Tower, Zhigong Terrace, Phoenix Tree, and Drunken Platform.

Shima Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Boshan District, Zibo City. Established as Shima Commune in 1958, it became a township in 1984 and was upgraded to a town in 1992. Located in the southeastern part of the district, it is 12.5 kilometers from the district government. Covering an area of 44.7 square kilometers with a population of 24,000, it is traversed by the Boshan–Laiwu Highway and the Boshan–Linyi Highway. The town administers ten village committees: Jiaolong, Dongshi, Zhongshi, Zijing, Qiaodong, Qiaoxi, Taizi, Xiangquan, Shangjiao, and Xiajiao.
