Baishidong Scenic Area

Baishidong Scenic Area is situated in a picturesque valley four li west of Boshan City and includes four attractions: Baishidong, Heshangfang, Jiulong Valley, and Yaojia Valley. The mountains here are covered with white rocks, and the rugged cliffs seem ready to fall. The cave is located halfway up the mountain and contains a Dragon God Shrine. The forested valleys are deep and tranquil, interspersed with maple trees. In the cold season, frosted leaves and rustling pines enhance the landscape, creating a truly beautiful scene. Hidden among the greenery are ancient architectural complexes in the Ming and Qing temple styles — such as Tuanyuan Hall, Sanwang Palace, Yuwang Pavilion, and Yugong Hall.

Baishidong Scenic Area is covered with towering ancient trees, featuring over 400 species of rare and historic trees, each displaying its unique form. It is a sightseeing area primarily focused on mountain forest scenery and autumn foliage appreciation. Major attractions include the “Longevity Water” cliff cave, Yuwang Pavilion, Tuanyuan Hall, and Nangong Hall. The Heshangfang area boasts ancient stone towers and Phoenix Peak, mainly offering a rustic mountain village charm, with year-round flowing mountain streams, lush green trees in summer, and the sounds of birds and cicadas.
