Wanglu Mountain is located 4 kilometers north of the town center. It stretches 2 kilometers from north to south and 1.5 kilometers from east to west, with the main peak at an elevation of 278.3 meters. The bedrock is granite. The Wanglu Mountain Scenic Area is a tourist attraction named after the mountain, featuring natural landscapes as its main highlight. Wanglu Mountain is located 3 kilometers south of Qiaolingqian Village in the southwest of Boshan City. With its continuous and towering ridges, it is one of the higher boundary mountains between Boshan and Laiwu, standing at an elevation of 726.6 meters and covering a scenic area of 616 hectares.

Wanglu Mountain is one of the mountain ridges traversed by the Qi Great Wall, and remnants of the ancient wall can still be seen today. In ancient times, people standing here could gaze into the distance and catch sight of the land of the State of Lu, hence the name "Wanglu" (which means "Gazing at Lu"). Today, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the mountain ranges stretching for hundreds of miles. Up close, the shady slopes are adorned with clusters of forsythia blooming on cliffs and precipices, intertwined with vines such as wisteria. The deep valleys are lush with trees, forming a dense sea of green, dotted with vibrant mountain flowers—creating an enchanting landscape. Especially in Xidayu Valley, there are evergreen ornamental species like black pine, tall nectar-producing trees such as honey locust, as well as forsythia, azaleas, winter jasmine, mountain peach, and mountain apricot. Wild fruits like dark purple, tangy wild grapes and bright red raspberries are abundant, adding extra charm to the scenery.

During summer and autumn, mountain springs gush out continuously. The waterfall at the valley entrance has a drop of 5 meters and a width of 3 meters, presenting a beautiful sight. Xidayu Valley is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces water on one side, with winding streams of emerald water. The harmonious blend of mountains and water, blooming flowers, and serene tranquility make it a rare summer retreat.
