Lushan Botanical Garden

The Lushan Botanical Garden scenic area covers 7,000 mu and extends along the main trail to the foot of Guanyun Peak. With ample water resources, rich soil, and a pleasant microclimate, the area supports thriving plant life. In recent years, a total of 1,100 plant species have been cultivated and introduced. So far, gardens including the Bamboo Garden, Chestnut Garden, Magnolia Garden, Pine and Cypress Garden, Black Locust Garden, and Red Leaf Garden have taken initial shape. The garden is home to the Metasequoia and Ginkgo, both classified as National First-Class Protected Plants; Chinese Zoyzia Grass, Wild Soybean, and Japanese Linden are listed as National Second-Class Protected Plants. Three plant species are included in the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), four are recorded in China's "Red Data Book of Rare and Endangered Plants," and 26 are listed in the "Shandong Province Rare and Endangered Protected Plants" directory.

Chishang Town: Located in the southeastern part of Boshan District, along the upper reaches of the Zihe River, Chishang Town borders Zichuan District, Yiyuan County, and Linqu County. The fourth highest peak in Shandong Province, Lushan, sits within the town. The town covers a total area of 156.51 square kilometers, comprises 44 administrative villages, and has a population of 23,000. There are 13 mountains within the area with elevations exceeding 800 meters, and the Lushan National Forest Park is located here. The cultivated land area spans 17,000 mu. Provincial Highway Zhonglin runs across the entire town, with paved roads connecting every village — totaling 60 kilometers of roadways.
