Tomb of Zhao Zhishen
The Tomb of Zhao Zhishen is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shandong Province.
The Tomb of Zhao Zhishen is located on the north-south slope of Tumen Touzhuang in Boshan District, Zibo City, Shandong Province, at a place called "Tianjie," commonly known as the "Scholar's Tomb." In front of the tomb there were originally a stone offering table and a stone stele, and a wild elm tree grew on the earthen mound at the top of the tomb. In 1966, the tomb was excavated and destroyed, the remains were scattered, and the stone stele, offering table, and wild elm have all since disappeared. Only the earthen mound can still be identified. In 1984, it was designated as a municipal-level key cultural heritage protection site.
On December 7, 2006, the Tomb of Zhao Zhishen was announced by the People's Government of Shandong Province as part of the third batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units in Shandong Province.
