Zhifang Village is famous for its abundant cherry production. Thanks to its advantageous geographical location and a warm microclimate, the cherries ripen early—usually around May 1st each year—making it a standardized production base for large cherries in Jinan City.

The Wufeng Mountain Cherry Orchard in Changqing District, Jinan, is located within the village. Wufeng cherries are renowned as the “crown of fruits” and the “first branch of spring fruit” for their luscious, glistening appearance, sweet and delicious taste, and rich content of iron, phosphorus, calcium, and more than ten types of amino acids.
