The Millennium Ancient Villages Scenic Area is located at the foot of Meiling on the Western Hills, about ten kilometers south of Anyi County under the jurisdiction of Nanchang City. This scenic area consists of three major ancient villages: Jingtai, Luotian, and Shuinan, covering an area of approximately 3 square kilometers. The three ancient villages are arranged in a tripartite formation, connected by the Longevity Avenue, the Prayer Road, and the Prosperity Avenue (collectively known as the "Three-Star Roads of Fortune, Prosperity, and Longevity"), each just a li apart. The three villages are both independent and form an organic whole.

Jingtai Village: With a history of 1,400 years, the village is home to two major surnames: Liu and Li. The Liu family descendants are from Liu Xiang, a Han Dynasty scholar, who migrated here in the first year of the Wude era (618 AD) of the early Tang Dynasty. During the Hongwu period of the early Ming Dynasty, the ancestors of the Li family settled here after being granted official titles by the imperial court. This millennium-old village, far from the hustle and bustle, has preserved many ancient residential structures in excellent condition, such as stone memorial archways, ancient wells and troughs, ancient stages, brick-and-stone gates, and houses with forty-eight skylights. Visitors here can surely experience the charm of agrarian life and be filled with the joy of returning to a pastoral idyll.
