Introduction:

Shuinan "Yutang Hall" is located in Shuinan Natural Village, Luotian Village Committee, Shinose Town, Anyi County, Jiangxi Province. It was built in the 20th year of the Daoguang reign during the Qing Dynasty (1840) and meticulously planned and constructed by the wealthy Huang Yiqi. Because he made his fortune by operating a riverine timber business in the ancient town of Wucheng in Jiangxi, he returned home to build "Yutang Hall."

Yutang Hall covers an area of 1,940 square meters. The main building consists of two structures, facing south and situated to the north. It is built with a brick-and-wood structure and features a flush gable roof with a post-and-lintel construction style. The building is 12.9 meters wide and 25.44 meters deep. The rear hall, commonly known as the "Boudoir Tower," is a tower-style structure with a corridor on the upper floor. Along the edge of the courtyard, there are carved balustrades for viewing and flower-patterned windows on the tower.

The entire wooden interior decoration of the "Boudoir Tower" features a rich variety of carved patterns, all exquisitely designed and finely crafted, giving the rear hall a magnificent and breathtakingly luxurious appearance.

In December 2006, it was announced as part of the fifth batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units in Jiangxi Province.

Luotian Village: Luotian Village is located 12 kilometers southwest of Dayou Township, Shicheng County, Jiangxi Province. The area features overlapping mountains, with terrain sloping from south to north.

It has a history of twelve hundred years. The village is entirely inhabited by the Huang clan, said to be descendants of the Flame Emperor (Zhu Rong). To escape war and turmoil, they migrated here from Qizhou, Hubei during the Guangming era of the late Tang Dynasty. A local folk rhyme says: "Tiny Anyi County, but the Huangs of Luotian are mighty." This shows the great reputation of the Huang family of Luotian. The village was once a necessary stop for pilgrims traveling to the Xishan Wanshou Palace to worship the deity Xu Xianjun, hence shops were densely lined up and merchants gathered, marking a time of great prosperity.
