Introduction:

Xiashu Memorial Archway is located on Xubu Street in Anyi County, Jiangxi Province. Also known as Wuxian Hall, it is a famous historical site in Anyi County. Wuxian Hall was first built in the 45th year of the Chongzhen reign during the Ming Dynasty. The entire complex covers an area of over three mu, featuring a brick-and-wood structure divided into four sections. The front part is a stage standing 1.5 meters high, with the building designed in a pavilion style. The roof features arched chrysanthemum patterns covered in colorful carvings, with upturned eaves at the four corners adorned with delicate phoenix wind bells. On both sides in front of the stage are raised galleries for spectators. The central section is the main hall, with an intricately carved bluestone memorial archway at the entrance. Stone pillars of the archway bear large inscribed couplets, though the characters have become somewhat blurred. A short distance ahead stand a pair of large bluestone lions.
