Introduction:

The Zhen Shou Memorial Archway House is located at the front west of Anjia Village, Yanfang, Shibi Town, Anyi County, Jiangxi Province. Built in the 27th year of the Daoguang reign (1847), it was constructed by the imperial court to honor Hu Shi'an, wife of Confucian scholar An Jijin, on her 101st birthday. It is a rare complex of ancient architecture where the archway and traditional house are integrated. Facing south and built on a north-south axis, the structure is highly unique. The entire building covers an area of 308 square meters, consisting of a two-courtyard structure: three bays wide and five bays deep, with a flush-gable roof supported by raised beams. The memorial archway features three gates, four pillars, three tiers, and a multi-eave bracket set, standing 6.6 meters tall with a span of 5.9 meters. The main pillars are 4.3 meters high and 0.32 meters wide. The side pillars are 3.21 meters high, with double-angle brackets on the pillar facades. The pedestal bases are carved and 0.29 meters high, 0.39 meters wide.
