Introduction:

The Tomb of Huang Qi is located in Laowuhouchang Village, Huangzhou Town, Anyi County, Jiangxi Province. Huang Qi, courtesy name Weide, was a native of Jianchang County (now part of Anyi) during the Ming Dynasty. He became a Jinshi (imperial examination graduate) in the ninth year of the Zhengde era (1514). He served as Langzhong in the Ministry of Personnel’s Bureau of Evaluations, as Ancha Shi of Guizhou, and as Buzheng Shi (administrative commissioner) of Yunnan. The tomb has an earthen mound, currently 0.6 meters high and 5.4 meters in diameter.

Huangzhou Town: Huangzhou Town is located in the southwestern part of Anyi County, Nanchang City, about 12 kilometers from the county seat. It covers an area of 62.6 square kilometers with a population of 16,000. Transportation is very convenient, with second-class roads leading directly to the town government. It is 70 kilometers from Nanchang City, 45 kilometers from Changbei International Airport, 120 kilometers from Jiujiang Port (the largest port in Jiangxi), and 40 kilometers from Xinqizhou Railway Station on the Beijing-Kowloon Railway.

Huangzhou Town is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces water on one. The area enjoys fresh air, fertile soil, and clear water sources, with a forest coverage rate of 72.3%.
