Introduction:
Taishan is located to the north of Taishan Village in Longjin Town, Anyi County, Jiangxi Province. It is a Paleolithic site with a history of up to 50,000 years. The discovery of the Taishan Paleolithic site, like that of Zhanglinggang, fills a gap in our understanding of the distribution of Paleolithic sites in the province, and pushes back the timeline of human activity in Jiangxi from around 8,000–9,000 years ago to 50,000 years ago.
