Wulong Mountain is located at the border of Jiangxi and Anhui provinces, with its main peak standing at 1,580 meters above sea level. The mountain is high, fertile, and enjoys abundant rainfall. Its broad body is surrounded by rolling hills that lie prone like vassals paying homage to their king. Year-round dancing clouds and mist create a majestic sight resembling five dragons, hence the name.

Introduction:

In spring, Wulong Mountain is lush and vibrant, covered in blooming wildflowers. Standing at the summit and looking down at the Huizhou villages at the foot of the mountain. Vast fields of golden rapeseed flowers, winding rivers flowing into a highland lake as smooth as a mirror in the sky. While exploring Wulong Mountain, you’ll come across ancient hermitages and tombs that tell of history, stone houses where elderly hermits once lived halfway up the mountain, and even mysterious legends of treasure maps. Yuanqiu Village, located on the right mid-slope of the mountain, is one of the deepest and least-developed attractions in Wuyuan, visited only occasionally by photography enthusiasts from Shanghai and other places. It is a mountain village hidden among ancient camphor trees. Aside from the earthen ridge path, both the ascent and descent are along mountain trails paved with bluestone slabs.
