Lingyan Cave National Forest Park is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a national forest park.

Lingyan Cave is located within the Lingyan Cave Forest Park in Wuyuan, Jiangxi Province, known as "the most beautiful countryside in China." The cave area is divided into three scenic zones: the Lingyan Cave Cluster, the Stone City Ancient Tree Group, and the Stone Forest Wonder. The Lingyan Cave Cluster consists of 36 karst caves, but currently only two are developed and open to visitors: Hanxu Cave and Lianhua Cave. Compared to the others, Hanxu Cave is more scenic and the main highlight. Unlike most karst caves that feature stalactites and stalagmites formed by deposition, Lingyan Cave showcases unique stone sprouts and stone forest landscapes shaped by water erosion on limestone. Additionally, over 2,000 historical inscriptions dating back to the Tang Dynasty can be found among the cave clusters, including writings such as "Yue Fei visited here" and "Wu Hui Zhu Xi." The surrounding area also features ancient villages and notable trees and forests worth visiting.

Lingyan Cave Forest Park in Wuyuan County, Jiangxi Province, was designated as a "National Forest Park" by the former Ministry of Forestry in 1993 and established as a "Provincial Scenic Area" by the provincial government in 1995. Covering an area of approximately 30 square kilometers, it is a scenic destination that combines natural and cultural landscapes, divided into three zones: the Lingyan Cave Cluster, the Stone City Ancient Tree Group, and the Stone Forest Wonder.

Introduction:

The Lingyan Cave Cluster is made up of 36 karst caves, including Qingyun, Lianhua, Hanxu, Lingxu, Cuiling, and Qiongzh. Some caves are grand and majestic, while others are delicate and elegant. The caves contain clear, bright streams, where water and stone formations create picturesque scenes. Stalactites, stone flowers, pillars, and curtains are abundant, displaying a rich variety of forms. There are hundreds of scenic spots such as the Penglai Immortal Pavilion, Golden Palace Jade Pool, Cloud Valley Dragon, Heavenly Pond Lotus Fragrance, and Dragon Gate Cascading Jade. Even more remarkable are the over 2,000 historical inscriptions preserved among the cave clusters, including carvings from the Tang Dynasty onwards such as "Yue Fei visited here," "Wu Hui Zhu Xi," as well as cliff inscriptions by Lu Pan in the 11th year of the Tang Dynasty's Dazhong era (serving as Censor-in-Chief) and Dai Xian of the Ming Dynasty.

Gutan Village: Ze Mountain Village in Gutan Village is located on the northern border of Wuyuan, along the Qingling Highway, about 52 kilometers from the county seat, with a population of around 2,300. It is 3 kilometers from Jujing Village, known as China’s roundest village. The villagers mainly rely on income from tea, tea oil, and migrant work. It was formerly the site of the Gutan Township government.

In 2014, the village took advantage of new rural development initiatives to protectively develop the ancient ancestral hall in Ze Mountain Village — the "Shide Hall" — transforming it into the "Ze Mountain Book House."
