The Wuyuan Ancient Folk Museum is located in the Folk Culture Street of Wuyuan County.

The exhibits on display number over 2,000 pieces across more than 20 categories. From a unique perspective, the museum vividly and typically presents the handicrafts and artworks from the Ming and Qing periods in Wuyuan, showcasing a cultural style and artistic flair rich in regional traditional features. A wide variety of items such as wood carvings, bamboo silk weavings, silverware, miscellaneous objects, calligraphy and paintings, and embroidery feature exquisitely crafted, lifelike, and broadly appealing designs with profound meanings—truly a microcosm of ancient Huizhou culture.

The Wuyuan Ancient Folk Exhibition Hall vividly and typically showcases the handicrafts and artworks from the Ming and Qing periods in Wuyuan through a “cat’s-eye” perspective, highlighting the cultural style and artistic characteristics with distinct local traditions.
