Jiangwan Century Post Office

The so-called century post office is actually a souvenir shop in the Jiangwan scenic area that resembles a museum. The items sold here are postcards and some small souvenirs.

Like postcards found everywhere else in the country, this place also offers some with unique Wuyuan-themed postmarks, which adds a bit of local character. The Century Post Office isn’t very big — just two rooms — but it’s open year-round. It’s worth a visit when you’re in Jiangwan.

It’s said to have a history of several hundred years. Inside, there are displays of ancient envelope samples, as well as Wuyuan-themed stamps and postcards. The postcards come with stamps already affixed and can be mailed.
