The former site of the Wuyuan County Committee of the Communist Party of China is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province.

The former site of the Wuyuan County Committee of the Communist Party of China is located in Zhukeng, Xucun Town, Wuyuan County. In the winter of 1932, as the areas under the Party’s leadership continued to expand, the Fujian–Zhejiang–Jiangxi Provincial Committee of the CPC decided in February 1933 to dissolve the Wuyuan Special District Committee and establish the Wuyuan County Committee, with Wang Zhaozu appointed as the secretary. The county committee governed seven district committees—Zhukeng, Luotian, Lijushan, Xucun, Jialu, Zhongyun—and two secret district committees—Fuchun and Qinghua. In July 1934, after the Central County Committee of Fule-Wuyuan (covering Yue, Poyang, and Wuyuan) moved from Neiqian in Fuliang County to Meitian Village in Wuyuan, the Wuyuan County Committee came under the leadership of the Fule-Wuyuan Central County Committee.

Xucun Town: Located in the southwestern part of Wuyuan County, Xucun Town borders the three cities of Jingdezhen (the porcelain capital), Dexing (the copper capital), and Leping. To the east is Zhongyun Town, to the south is Taibai Town, to the west is Zhenzhushan Township, and to the north are Fuchun and Zhentou towns. The town covers a total land area of 325,905 mu. The town government is situated in Xucun, which is 38 km from the county seat and 46 km from Jingdezhen, offering convenient transportation. In December 1994, the township was upgraded to a town, and in April 2005, Fengzhou Township was merged into Xucun Town. The town currently administers 12 village committees, one neighborhood committee, and one town-managed forest farm, with a total population of 18,363, all of whom are Han Chinese.
