Sixi Bridge is located in Sixi Village, Sikou Town, Wuyuan County, dating back to the Ming Dynasty.

Sixi Village: The village was founded by the Yu clan in the fifth year of the Qingyuan era during the Southern Song Dynasty (1199 AD). It was named “Sixi” (meaning “Thinking of the Stream”), inspired by the proximity of the clear stream and the homophone of “Yu” (fish), symbolizing harmony between fish and water.

Sixi is situated within Sikou Township. It lies one li from Yancun and ten kilometers from the county seat. Established in the fifth year of the Qingyuan era during the Southern Song Dynasty (1199 AD), the village is backed by mountains and faces water, nestled amid the picturesque scenery of rolling peaks and emerald rivers. The architectural complex blends seamlessly with the natural environment, where hills and waters complement each other, creating a poetic and idyllic atmosphere.
