The Yu Songmao Residence is located in Huangcun on the west bank of Hexi, Tuochuan Township, Wuyuan County, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

Tuochuan Township: Tuochuan Township is located at the northernmost border of Jiangxi Province. It neighbors Zheyuan Township to the east, connects to Qinghua Town to the south, borders Zhangshan Township to the west, and adjoins Wangcun Town of Xiuning County, Anhui Province, to the north. The township government is based in Hedong Village, situated in the central part of the region at the confluence of three streams at the southeastern foot of Tuofengjian. It is named Tuochuan (literally “flowing stream valley”) due to the endless gurgling of clear streams. The township is 55 kilometers from the county seat, covering an area of 91 square kilometers.
