Fengshan Zha Clan Ancestral Hall is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Wuyuan Zha Clan Ancestral Hall is the main ancestral temple where members of the Zha family worship their founding ancestor, Zha Wenhui. Built in 1644, the ancestral hall covers an area of 2,460 square meters and features a straight six-section layout, comprising a plaza, gardens, a large pond, a grand auditorium, a rear hall, and other sections. In the early years of the Republic of China, a Western-style school was established here, which later became the predecessor of Fengshan Central Primary School. Due to historical reasons, the large pond, kitchen, and other parts of the auditorium were repurposed, but the main structures of the ancestral hall have been well preserved. Even today, visitors can still sense the grandeur the ancestral hall once exuded. Recognized for its significant historical and cultural value, the Zha Clan Ancestral Hall was officially designated as a National Cultural Relics Protection Unit in 2013. In recent years, Wuyuan County has placed great emphasis on the restoration and protection of damaged ancient ancestral halls, traditional residences, and historic sites, encouraging private investment in the preservation of ancient architecture to promote the sustainable development of tourism in Wuyuan. At the groundbreaking ceremony for major renovations, many descendants of the Zha family from Henan, Zhejiang, Guangdong, and other regions made on-site donations, uniting in spirit, tracing their roots, and jointly contributing to the reconstruction of this magnificent “Zha Clan Cultural Complex.”
