Approved and opened to the public in August 2012 by the Provincial Department of Culture, the Jingdezhen Sanbao International Ceramics Art Village Museum was formerly known as the Sanbao Ceramics Art Research Institute. It was founded by the renowned Canadian-Chinese ceramic artist Master Li Jianshen. The museum focuses on the creation, exchange, and exhibition of contemporary and modern ceramic art, while drawing inspiration from local culture, folklore, architecture, and humanities, creating a new type of living museum where visitors can eat, stay, view, and play.
