The Workers' Memorial Hall is the main structure of the Anyuan Road and Mine Workers' Movement Memorial Hall. Established in 1956, it covers an area of 100,000 square meters and is located in Anyuan Town, Anyuan District, Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province. Its name was inscribed by Deng Xiaoping. The museum currently houses over 5,000 cultural relics, including 53 national first-grade relics, and 17 immovable cultural heritage sites, among which 4 are national key cultural heritage sites and 6 are provincial-level sites. Since its establishment, it has received over 11 million visitors from around the world. With the Workers' Memorial Hall as the center and leading attraction, Anyuan is gradually becoming a red tourism destination in western Jiangxi that integrates education, sightseeing, leisure, and entertainment.

The basic exhibition of the memorial hall systematically introduces the period from 1921 to 1930, when the Communist Party of China led the workers of the Anyuan Road and Mine, carried out struggles, peasant movements, and armed resistance against imperialism and feudalism. The exhibition is divided into six sections: (1) Road and Mine Workers Under Triple Oppression; (2) Organizing Together; (3) The Great Strike of Road and Mine Workers; (4) Persistence and Development After the February 7th Massacre; (5) Workers and Peasants United, Supporting the Northern Expedition; (6) The Autumn Harvest Uprising and Armed Agrarian Revolution. In addition to texts, photos, and artifacts, there are also large sculptures such as "The Hardship of Miners," "Mao Zedong Goes to Anyuan," "The Great Strike," "Workers and Peasants Alliance," and "Marching Toward Jinggangshan."

The museum currently houses over 5,000 cultural relics, including about 200 first-grade items. Among them are the "Anyuan Semi-Monthly," workers’ consumer cooperative stocks, and shopping vouchers. These are considered quite valuable and hold a significant place in the history of modern Chinese literature. The museum also manages several national and provincial-level protected cultural heritage sites, including the former site of the Anyuan Road and Mine Workers' Club (two locations), the former site of the main inclined shaft entrance of the Anyuan Coal Mine, the former site of the first remedial school for Anyuan Road and Mine workers, the former site of the Anyuan Road and Mine Workers' Consumer Cooperative, the former site of the building where Liu Shaoqi negotiated with the mine authorities, the former site of the military meeting in Anyuan to plan the Autumn Harvest Uprising on the Hunan-Jiangxi border, and a German-style company building. Municipal-level protected sites include: Mao Zedong’s residence during his visit to Anyuan in the autumn of 1921, the former site of the Party branch meeting where the strike was decided, the Anyuan Workers, Peasants, and Soldiers Government, and eight other locations.

The Anyuan Road and Mine Workers' Movement is a shining example of the early combination of Marxism with the Chinese workers' movement. The Anyuan Road and Mine Workers' Movement Memorial Hall serves as a national revolutionary tradition education base for youth, providing a new platform and vehicle to strengthen such education and cultivate socialist laborers and successors with Chinese characteristics. Its goal is to help young people better understand the great significance of the Anyuan Road and Mine Workers' Movement, guide them to love learning, labor, the Party, the country, and the people, foster in them correct worldviews, outlooks on life, and values, and inspire them to continue striving for the realization of the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.
