The Former Site of the Military Meeting for the Autumn Harvest Uprising is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province and a classic red tourism destination.

The Former Site of the Military Meeting for the Autumn Harvest Uprising is located in Zhangjiawan, Anyuan Town, Anyuan District, Pingxiang City, about 6–7 kilometers from downtown Pingxiang. In early September 1927, Comrade Mao Zedong chaired a military meeting here to plan the Autumn Harvest Uprising along the Hunan-Jiangxi border. The Front Committee was established, the organizational structure of the 1st Regiment of the 1st Division of the Workers’ and Peasants’ Revolutionary Army was set up, and the date, marching route, and slogans for the uprising were announced. In December 1978, the site was designated as a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit by the Jiangxi Provincial Government. It was later approved by the State Council (listed in the sixth batch) as a National Key Cultural Relic Protection Unit.
