Former Site of the Anyuan Workers', Peasants' and Soldiers' Government

The Former Site of the Anyuan Workers', Peasants' and Soldiers' Government is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province.

This is the former site of the Anyuan Soviet Workers', Peasants' and Soldiers' Government.

In September 1930, Mao Zedong and Zhu De led the First Red Army to Anyuan. With the help of the Red Army, the Anyuan Soviet Workers', Peasants' and Soldiers' Government was established, and Yuan Dexi, a worker from Anyuan, was elected as its chairman. He worked here at that time. The Anyuan Workers' Militia also stationed here, with the main task of protecting the Soviet government. The former site of the Anyuan Soviet Workers', Peasants' and Soldiers' Government is the predecessor of the Pingxiang Municipal Government.

In October 1984, it was listed as a cultural relic protection unit of Pingxiang City; on March 9, 2018, it was listed as part of the sixth batch of cultural relic protection units of Jiangxi Province.
