The scenic area spans a total of 3.76 square kilometers, with 1.10 square kilometers of water area and 2.66 square kilometers of land area. It includes the surrounding woodlands of Hongxing Reservoir, Sizhou Reservoir, and Lingxi Reservoir, and is contiguous with Dawu Mountain, Guanyin Mountain, and Bijia Mountain. The region boasts strikingly rugged rocks, dense forests, and intertwined vines. In spring, it bursts with color; in summer, it offers cool shade; in autumn, it fills the air with fragrance; and in winter, it remains verdant. Birds sing at dawn, and lake views enchant at dusk—every corner reflects the charm of nature. The reservoirs boast crystal-clear waters and dynamic landscapes: Hongxing Reservoir is gentle and graceful; Lingxi Reservoir is simple and unpretentious; Sizhou Reservoir is majestic and grand, each with its own unique character. The scenic area is covered by lush forest vegetation, with a forest coverage rate of over 85%. The green canopies layer over undulating hills, creating beautiful and picturesque scenery. The Hongxing Ecological Park cultivates hundreds of plant species, including rare and precious trees such as the elephant leg tree, camphor, osmanthus, and pandanus, making it a true “botanical wonderland.” The Sanqing Garden is a paradise of fruit orchards, planted with loquats, longans, lychees, mangoes, olives, and more—too many to list. During harvest season, the trees are laden with abundant fruit. There is also a thousand-acre sapindus demonstration forest base, which not only serves as a source of sapindus raw materials but also offers breathtaking scenic beauty. In early winter, walking through the woods, visitors are greeted by a golden forest landscape that feels like a dreamy fairyland. The area is also crisscrossed with tea fields and fragrant with osmanthus blossoms that delight the senses.
