The “Pikachu Flash Mob” event, now in its third consecutive year, will take place in August in Yokohama. Up to 1,000 Pikachu will gather at Yokohama’s Minato Mirai 21, delivering a string of spectacular performances such as a Pikachu parade and dance. This year also features special new acts, aiming to give all participating visitors an unforgettable summer.

Since its launch in 2014, the “Pikachu Flash Mob” has attracted over 3.43 million children and adults. This year, from August 7 to 14 at Minato Mirai 21 in Yokohama, more than 1,000 adorable Pikachu will flood the area. In addition to last year’s highly popular Pikachu dance performance, this year will feature a brand-new “Splash Soak Show” utilizing water, allowing all visitors to feel the ultra-cute electric power of Pikachu’s 100,000 volts.
